jubileeventures.org is a volunteer organisation run by Frontier Africa, which is located in Nairobi. They offer teaching, mentorship, medical, and dental programmes for children in Africa. There are also internships in Kenya and other areas that include African language and culture courses.
UPDATE: I just spoke with a friend who is in pharmacy school who applied for the programme at jubileeventures.org, and she informed me that she completed the application, which was very competitive. After exchanging a few emails, they never replied to her and she was not able to participate in their excursion.
